On behalf of the NanoFlorida 2018 Organizing Committee, we invite you to become a sponsor or exhibitor at the 11th annual NanoFlorida 2018 Conference. This year’s event is held at Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) on October 5 -7, 2018 in Melbourne, Florida. The growth and popularity of this conference is especially noteworthy given that it is traditionally a student-organized event.

After 10 years, NanoFlorida remains the only statewide science and engineering conference for sharing nanotechnology research and building collaborations between academia and industry. Students and faculty from all major research universities in Florida including UF, FSU, UCF, University of Miami, USF, FIU, FAU, and Florida Tech attend and present their research.

NanoFlorida 2018 adds a new opportunity for your organization to network with potential customers and showcase your latest nanotechnology products and services. In addition to exhibition booths, logo advertisements and sponsorship acknowledgements, we will offer your organization the chance to connect with conference attendees in new ways:

  • Perform a product demonstration workshop,
  • Meet, review résumés and conduct interviews with students from Florida Tech and other Florida research universities at NanoFlorida’s Industry and Graduate School Exposition, and
  • Network with leading nanotechnology researchers and educators from Florida and across the U.S.

Sponsorship of NanoFlorida 2018 provides an affordable way to meet your customers and future employees, as well as support a premier science and engineering conference. If you cannot attend NanoFlorida 2018 but still wish to make a financial contribution to the conference, please contact Dr. Jim Brenner (321-749-3437, jbrenner@fit.edu).

Your organization may also want to participate in Florida Tech’s universitywide career fair occurring on Oct. 4–5. Contact Dona Gaynor, director of Career Management Services (dgaynor@fit.edu), for more information about this separate event.

Building upon the success of 10 years of NanoFlorida conferences, our goals for NanoFlorida 2018 include:

  • Provide a means for faculty, students and industry employers to network, share their research accomplishments and learn from each other,
  • Identify, discuss and build collaborations to overcome the challenges of nanotechnology research and product development,
  • Encourage partnerships between researchers in the nanotechnology industry and academia; and
  • Promote the accomplishments of undergraduate and graduate student researchers and enable them to network with future employers.

We look forward to welcoming you to NanoFlorida 2018 on the beautiful campus of Florida Tech in Melbourne, Florida!
