15th Annual NCSSSMST Student Research Symposium
How do I register for the Student Research Symposium?
If you are a head of school, registration is easy. The online form will be available January 15, 2008. Click on Welcome, Intent to Participate in the top left corner and fill out the online form. Before submitting the form, please add symposium@fit.edu to your e-mail address book to ensure receipt of e-mails from Florida Institute of Technology. Click the submit button and wait for an e-mail with a pdf file attached. Please fill out the pdf files and fax or mail the forms to the fax or address listed on the pdf files. The address may also be found at the bottom of the website.
Who may register for the symposium?
Only heads of schools or attending teachers from NCSSSMST member schools are allowed to register student participants. Parents and students may not register.
How much does the symposium cost?
The attending school is responsible for travel expenses to and from the symposium. Florida Tech will cover all symposium costs including room and meals. There may be an additional cost for the optional Saturday field trip to Kennedy Space Center or the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. Information about the optional additional day will be sent at a later date.
How do I get to campus from the airport?
Florida Tech will provide transportation to and from the Melbourne International Airport. The information you provided on the Transportation Plan will help us coordinate transportation to campus.
What should I bring?
Hair Conditioner, Blow dryer, Alarm clock, Swimsuit, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, Razor, Shampoo, sunscreen.
